Once a month, the members of SAS meet for a Luncheon at the centrally-located “Haus zum Rüden” on the Limmatquai in Zurich. Various interesting personalities from business, politics, culture and science are invited for a in-depth presentation and discussion round. Our program

SCHOLARSHIPS

Studying or spending a semester in the USA is a dream of many students. Every year we award scholarships totaling between 15,000 and 20,000 Swiss francs. Five to seven students from Switzerland benefit from our scholarships. There is a separate scholarship fund for lawyers who would like to study at Georgetown University in Washington D.C. Requirements

100 YEARS SAS

SAS is celebrating! 100 years ago, our organization was founded under the name “Swiss Friends of the USA”. As of 2007, we have been actively pursuing the same goals under the name; Swiss-American Society. Find out more about the anniversary
